Written on his bumper,
On a sticker large and blue,
For all the world to see
“WHAT WOULD JESUS DO?”

Then the light turned green,
The car in front too slow,
He blasted on his horn
To let the fellow know.

A blind man with a cane
Tried to cross the street,
He laid upon his horn again
And laughed at his retreat.

As he sped off down the alley
He failed to make a stop.
The sign he just ignored
He had failed to see the cop.

His feelings weren’t too kind
For the men who wear the star
And he let the policeman know
As he approached his car.

When the cop gave him the ticket
He thought in words of blue
Until he saw the cop had written
“WHAT WOULD JESUS DO?”
